Melanie Pflaster is a comedienne and producer who creates characters through immersive theater, burlesque, aerial hoop, & clowning. Potentially one day, all four at the same time. She is most delighted when she can immerse an audience in a shared experience where they might join her for an underground, 1920’s cabaret that turns into a labor picket line, or run away with a tramp clown and join a burlesque fan act.
She specializes in aerial hoop, clowning, and burlesque with a focus on fan dancing.
She is grateful to have trained under Elena Panova in Aerial Hoop at Circus Center and many other clown, contorion, and aerial coaches including: Micah Walters, Joel Baker, Sierra Camille, the Academy of Burlesque, and Perle Noire.
She currently resides in the Bay area where she has produced and performed for Epic Immersive, Mystic Ventures Collective, and herself.
